Ashdale Guest House, St David’s Road, Llandudno

Ashdale Guest HouseWhether you’re riding the famous tramway or taking in the spectacular views of the bay, Llandudno is the ideal place to enjoy a fun filled holiday break. But there’s nothing worse on holiday than relaxing in your hotel room getting a trace of smoke creeping under the door from next door’s bedroom! Guest House owner Sally Rule knows that this isn’t the way to look after her guests and that’s why you won’t see an ashtray anywhere near the Ashdale Guest House.

Llandudno, one of Britain’s finest Victorian seaside resorts is a haven for hotels, guest houses and B&B’s alike but one thing that’s different about Ashdale Guest House is that it’s clean, fresh and smoke free. Situated in the centre of Llandudno just a stone’s throw away from the famous promenade and beach, the Ashdale, with its seven bedrooms offering a comfortable and a smoke-free environment, is one popular place to stay!

Awarded a prestigious gold status by Conwy County Borough Council for its smoke-free policy, owners Sally and Steve Rule are delighted to be running this smoke free guest house in this elegant North Wales coastal town.
Having recently taken over as manager of the guest house, Sally said, “Being a non smoker myself, I’d prefer not to be in a smoking environment 24/7 and when you’re looking after other people in your home, I think it’s a better situation all round. If people were allowed to smoke in their bedrooms, there would be a huge fire risk so I’d prefer to keep the place smoke free.

“All our guests think it’s a marvellous idea and I’ve not had a single complaint. Being smoke free is the only sensible way forward!”
